Status Report

Hello fine internet goers! I have received a decent amount of emails recently about the state of the mod. Most start with this comment, "Is the mod dead?" Nope. The mod isn't dead. Though, I'd be lying if I said everything was going great. It's the same story you've heard a million times before on mod news pages - the team got busy with real life. Some people got jobs and had to move across the country, others were in school and etc., etc.

The mod will release, hopefully soon, but with less content than promised. I know, there wasn't a ton of content promised in the first place but it will have to do!

The Quake mod finally gets a home page! I figured since we're putting all this effort into the mod it might as well have a proper place to live besides in the portfolio of my site. After all, this time around the team is significantly larger and the product is quite a bit bigger. We've settled on a name for the mod (as you can probably tell) and have a few features to share with you. These are all planned* for the next release of the Quake mod.

New monsters :: Grunts, Enforcers and new bosses! As well as the 5 monsters from Shambler's Castle
5 levels :: Including one intro level and a reworked Shambler's Castle
All working weapons :: Including a working Lightning Gun
A new soundtrack :: Moody ambient music and rockin' metal music

Here is a new shot of Lavastorm to keep your fancy titillated! 

A release date hasn't been set but I can assure you that we're going much faster than before. Check back often for updates on that, as well as new screenshots of maps and monsters.

*Not all of these features are complete and could be cut at any time to ensure a quality mod at a reasonable time
