Unreal Tournament 2004 :: 1 on 1 Multiplayer Deathmatch :: Rocketz

Premise :: 
Started as a remake of my Quake 3 Arena map, Arenaz, Rocketz was the first of the 4 weapon-specific maps made for Unreal Tournament. The plan was to make each part of Arenaz as a separate 1 on 1 map and then combine them into a full remake. Sadly, this never happened. What you'll get with this map is a simple arena made ideally for 1 on 1 battles using nothing but the rocket launcher.

Unreal Tournament 2004 :: Onslaught :: Outback

Premise :: 
This was also started as another project and eventually turned into an Onslaught map. Originally it was designed for a Battle of the Sexes mod I was developing with a few guys. When the development team dwindled down to yours truly I decided to salvage some of my hard work and convert this map into an Onslaught map. It took a bit of hard work (and made me realize how much I hate porting things) and in the end turned out interesting. It's fun to play and the layout makes things furious. It's very hard to win, though, and unfortunately the bots don't always act as smart as I would have liked them to.

Unreal Tournament 2004 :: Capture the Flag :: Alone at Dawn

Premise :: 
Another Battle of the Sexes map converted into a regular game type when it became obvious that the mod wasn't getting completed. This is a pretty simple CTF map with a Battle of the Sexes twist: spawn rooms. Each team spawns in rooms located behind the flag room which are stocked with weapon lockers and health. I wanted to try this because I've always had an issue with enemies respawning ahead of you while you're trying to make your way out of a base carrying their flag. Bot play is fun and the map is best for about 5 on 5. Also, this was my first map for UT2k4.
