A great machinima director by the name of Michael Barnes has taken the levels that Jesse
and I worked on and turned it into something awesome to watch. If you
have 12 minutes of free time and would like to be entertained in the
style of Saving Private Ryan, give this video a watch. It's definitely awesome.
Thanks to Michael Barnes for using our work to create his own masterpiece.
Call
of Duty: World at War -- Ship It

So,
been a while, huh? I got a new computer and it took me a while to
bother booting up the old one to get all the info for my FTP, etc. But,
it's all good now.
Work
at Infinity Ward has been fun. It's been fulfilling my creative side
more-so than constantly making World War 2 games had been. So much, in
fact, that I've pretty much dropped any mod projects I was on. Now,
that doesn't mean I won't ever finish them, but don't hold your breath.
In the industry we call that "shelved". Ha.
World
at War is doing pretty well. Better than Call of Duty 3, but not as
well as Call of Duty 4. Exactly as expected. Regardless, I am happy for
the guys at Treyarch for making their most successful game yet. It'll
be interesting to see what they come up with next.
I have added a page of screenshots in my portfolio on the work I did on World at War. Check it out. Here are a few samples.

Subscribers
to Official Xbox Magazine should be getting the latest issue in the mail
any day now. On the cover is Call of Duty 5, now known as Call of Duty:
World at War. I guess they are dropping the numbers. The magazine has a
few good screenshots and some info on the game that I worked on for the
entirety of 2007 at Treyarch. Check it out if you get the chance (it
should be in stores in a week or two). I was told to expect a MEDIA
BLITZ on the game soon, though... so if you miss this opportunity I'm
sure you'll get another chance.
I
added a few more links to the links page of some very good fellow game
developers that I worked with for 3 years at Treyarch.
Also,
you'll notice the previous posts from the last year or two have been
moved to page 2 for a faster loading experience. I know. Awesome.
